[٧٥٧١/ ٦٥٥٩) (د س) الهرماس بن زياد الباهلي أبو حُدير - بضم الحاء وفتح الدال المهملتين ثم مثناة تحت ساكنة ثم راء - البصرى. له صحبة ورواية. وعنه: حنبل بن عبد الله، وعكرمة بن عمار بن عمار، وابنه القعقاع بن الهرماس. ذكره ابن حبان في كتاب "الثقات" في الصحابة وقال الباهلى من قيس عيلان: عداده في أهل المدينة، رأى النبي ﷺ يخطب على ناقته العضباء يوم الأضحى ثم أسند عنه هذا الحديث من طريق عكرمة بن عمار. وذكر الهرماس بن زياد فذكره وكذا ذكره ابن عبد البر وذكر حديثه وعنه عكرمة بن عمار وغيره وذكره الذهبي في "تجريده" وسمى جده بالقاسم قال: ويقال اسمه شريح.
