    [٧٤٧٥/ ٦٤٥٩]- (د) نعيم بن مسعود بن عامر أبو سلمة الأشجعي الغطفاني: كان في حجر عمر بن الخطاب، أسلم زمن الخندق، ثم خَذَّلَ بين الأحزاب فجزاه الله خيرًا وسكن المدينة هو وأولاده. روي: ابنه سلمة: توفى زمن عثمان قاله ابن حبان، وقيل قتل في الجمل سنة (٣٦) قبل قدوم على مع مجاشع بن مسعود السلمى - بضم السين وفتح اللام - وحكيم بن حَبَلة العبدي، له حديث في قول النبي ﷺ لرسولى مسيلمة الكذاب: لولا أن الرسل لا تُقتل لضربت أعناقكما.
