[٧١٤٠/ ٦١٤٩] (تمييز) المفضل بن عبد الله، ويقال ابن عُبيد الله اليربوعي. بصرى، حدث ببغداد. عن: داود بن أبي هند، وغيره. وعنه: أبو معمر القطيعي، ومحمد بن عبد الله المخرَّمى - بكسر الراء المشددة نسبة إلى المخرم، محله ببغداد، تقدم مرارًا. قال أبو حاتم: محله الصدق. ذكره في "الميزان" فقال: المفضل بن عبد الله الحبطى الضرير … وذكر قول أبي حاتم. وقال ابن معين ليس بشيء.
