[٧٠٣٥/ ٦٠٥١] (خت ٤) معاوية بن حيدة - بفتح الحاء، ثم مثناة تحت ساكنة، ثم دال مهملتين، ثم تاء التأنيث - القشيري، نزل البصرة. له عن: النبي ﷺ أحاديث. رواها عنه: ابنه حكيم والد بهز، وحُميد المزني، وعروة بن رُويم. قال محمد بن السائب الكلبي: حدثني أبى أنه أدركه بخراسان، وبها مات غازيًا. قال أبو داود: بهز بن حكيم: أحاديثه صحاح انتهى. وقد تقدم الكلام في بهز في مكانه من هذا المؤلف فأغنى عن إعادته.
