    [٦٩٧٣/ ٥٩٩٦] (ت) مطر بن عُكامس - هو بضم العين، وتخفيف الكاف بعدها ثم بعد الألف ميم مكسورة، ثم سين مهملتين، مصروف - السلمي. له صحبة ورواية. وعنه: أبو إسحاق حديث "إذا قضى الله لعبد أن يموت بأرض جعل له إليها حاجة". حسنه (ت). • تنبيه: مطر بن عكامس مختلف في صحبته وقد أخرج له (ت) الحديث الذي أشرت إليه. قال ابن معين: ليست له صحبة. وقال أحمد بن حنبل، وأبو حاتم لا يُعرف له صحبة، ولا رؤية، ولم يرو إلا هذا الحديث الواحد. والله أعلم.
