    [١٣٨٤] صفوانُ بنُ قُدامةَ التَّمِيميُّ (¬١)، هاجَر إلى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فقدِم عليه المدينةَ ومعه ابناه عبدُ العُزَّى وعبدُ نُهْمٍ (¬٢)، فبايَعه رسولُ اللهِ ﷺ ومَدَّ إليه يَدَه، فمسَح عليها رسولُ اللهِ ﷺ، فقال له صفوانُ: إِنِّي أُحِبُّك يا رسولَ اللهِ، فقال له النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: "المرءُ مع مَن أَحَبَّ"، وقال له رسولُ اللهِ ﷺ: "ما اسمُ ابْنَيك (¬٣) "، فقال: هذا عبدُ العُزَّى، وهذا عبدُ نُهْمٍ (¬٤)، فسَمَّى رسولُ اللهِ ﷺ عبدَ العُزَّى عبدَ الرحمنِ، وسَمَّىعبدَ نُهْمٍ (¬١) عبدَ اللهِ (¬٢). وأقام صفوانُ بالمدينةِ حتَّى مات بها.
