    [٦٨٢٩/ ٥٨٥٢]- (د) مرثد بن وداعة، أبو قُتيلة - بضم القاف، ثم مثناة فوق مفتوحة، ثم مثناة تحت ساكنة، ثم لام، ثم تاء التأنيث - الحمصي. مختلف في صحبته. قال (خ): له صحبة. وقال أبو حاتم وغيره: لا عن: عبد الله بن حَوَالَة. وعنه: خالد بن معدان مع تقدمه، وصفوان بن عَمرو، وحَريز - بفتح الحاء المهملة، ثم راء مكسورة وفي آخره زاي، وقد تقدم ضبطه مرارًا - ابن عثمان، وجماعة والله أعلم.
