[٦٧٩٣/ ٥٨١٧] (د س) محمود بن عَمرو بن يزيد بن السكن الأنصاري. عن: عمته أسماء بنت يزيد بن السكن، وسعد، وأبي هريرة. وعنه: حُصين بن عبد الرحمن الأشهلي، ويحيى بن أبي كثير. في "الثقات" لابن حبان ذكره مرتين فيما ظهر لي في الثانية، والثالثة، وفي "الميزان" ما نصه: محمود بن عَمرو الأنصاري، عن شهر بن حوشب. ضعفه ابن حزم الظاهري، وهو محمود بن عمرو بن يزيد بن السكن، يروي أيضًا عن عمته أسماء في تحريم الذهب على النساء. رواه عنه يحيى بن أبي كثير، فيه جهالة، ووثقه ابن حبان. روى عنه أيضًا حُصين بن عبد الرحمن الأشهلي انتهى.
