[٦٥٨٣/ ٥٦٣٤]- (تمييز) محمد بن المنهال البصرى العطار، أخو حجاج بن المنهال. عن: جعفر بن سليمان، ويزيد بن زُريع، وعبد الوهاب بن زياد، وغيرهم. وعنه: أبو زرعة، وأبو حاتم، ومطين، وعبد الله بن أحمد، وأبو يعلى الموصلي، وغيرهم. قال أبو حاتم: هو والضرير ثقتان والضرير أحفظ وأكيس. يقال: إن هذا أيضًا مات سنة (٢٣١).
