[٦٣٥٦/ ٥٤٥١]- (م د س ق) محمد بن أبي عُبيدة بن معن بن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن مسعود المسعودي، الكوفي. عن: أبيه. عنه: أبيه إبراهيم، وحفيده يحيى بن إبراهيم، وأبو بكر، وعثمان ابنا أبى شيبة، وابن نُمير، وأبو كريب، وأبو شيبة إبراهيم بن أبي بكر بن أبي شيبة، وآخرون. قال أحمد بن أبي خثيمة، عن ابن معين: ثة. وذكره ابن حبان في "ثقاته" وقال: مات سنة (٢٥٠) انتهى. كذا في "الثقات" ولعله: خمس. وفى "التذهيب" تبعًا لأصله: قال على بن مسلم: مات سنة (٢٠٥)، وكذا في "الكاشف"، و"الكمال" والله أعلم.
