[٦١٣٣/ ٥٢٧] (ت) محمد بن أبى سويد الثقفى الطائفي. عن: عثمان بن أبى العاص، وعُمر بن عبد العزيز. وعنه: إبراهيم بن ميسرة. وفى ثقات ابن حبان: محمد بن أبى سويد الثقفى يروى عن جده سفيان بن عبد الله الثقفى. روى عنه: الزهرى، هكذا قال يونس عن الزهري. ثم ذكر اختلافًا عن الزهرى فيه ورجح رواية يونس فقال: والقلب إلى رواية يونس أميل. وقال في "الميزان": محمد بن أبى سويد الثقفي: عن عُمر بن عبد العزيز لا يُعرف تفرد عنه إبراهيم بن ميسرة المكى.
