[٦٠٢٧] (تمييز) محمد بن داود بن دينار الكرماني، سكن سرخس. يروى [عن: يعلى] (*)، ومحمد ابنى عُبيد حدثنا عنه محمد بن عبد الرحمن الدغولي، [وغيره] (*)، مات سنة (٢٦٠) أو قبلها أو بعدها بقليل. قاله ابن حبان في "ثقاته". ذكره في "الميزان" ونسبه الفارسي فقال: من شيوخ ابن عدى ذكره فقال: كان يكذب. قد ذكره الذهبي في "ميزانه" في ترجمة عُبيد الله بن عبد الله العتلى. فقال: وكان يكذب. وذكر في الترجمة ثلاثة أحاديث ثم قال هذه الأحاديث من وضع محمد بن داود. انتهى.
