    [٦٠٠٩/ ٥١٩٤] (خ) محمد بن خلف الحدادي - بفتح الحاء وتشديد الدال الأولى المهملتين نسبه العجم إلى صنعة الحديد -، أبو بكر البغدادى المقرئ. عن: حسين الجعفي، وأبي يحيى الحِمّاني - بكسر الحاء المهملة وتشديد الميم وبعد الألف نون، ثم ياء النسبة وقد تقدم مرات -، ويعقوب الحضرمي وعبد الله بن نُمير وأبي أسامة، وطائفة.وعنه: (خ)، وأبو العباس السراج، وابن خزيمة، والمحاملي، وعبد الرحمن بن أبي حاتم، وطائفة. قال الدارقطني: ثقة فاضل. وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" مات في ربيع الأول سنة (٢٦١).
