    [٥٧٨٢/ ٥٠١٤] (ق) لهيعة - بفتح اللام بلا خلاف وهذا ظاهر كاد أن يكون روتينًا عند أربابه، لكنى رأيت من عوام طلبة العلم من يلفظ به بضم اللام وفتح الهاد في ابن لهيعة عبد الله -. وهذا المترجم هو: والد عبد الله المشار إليه واسم والده: عقبة أبو عكرمة المصرى والد عبد الله. روى عن: سفيان بن وهب الخولاني وسفيان هذا له صُحبة حضر حجة الوداع وشهد فتح مصر وله أحاديث. وعن أبي الورد المازني.وعنه: يزيد بن أبي حبيب، وزبان - بفتح الزاى وتشديد الموحدة - ابن فائدة - بالفاء - ومحمد بن عُبيد الله التيمي - ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" قيل: مات سنة (١٠٠). ذكره في "الميزان" فقال: تكلم فيه الأزدى وقواه ابن حبان انتهى.
