[٥٦٧٨/ ٤٨٩٨]- (ت ق) قيس بن الحجاج الكلاعى السُّلفى -بضم السين المهملة وفتح اللام ثم فاء ثم ياء النسبة إلى بطن الكلاع- المصرى. عن: حنش الصنعاني وأبي عبد الرحمن الحُبلى - وقد تقدم ضبطه مرارًا أنه مثلث الموحدة المشهور الضم وتفتح وتسكن. وعنه: عَمرو بن الحارث وخالد بن حميد المهرى والليث وابن لهيعة وجماعة. قال أبو حاتم: صالح. وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" قال ابن يونس: مات يقال سنه (١٢٩) وكان رجلًا صالحًا.
