[٥٥٤١/ ٤٧٥٢] (ت) الفضل بن يزيد الثمالي. - بضم الثاء المثلثة، وتخفيف الميم، وقد تقدم ضبطه غير مرة - ويقال: البجلي الكوفي. عن: الشعبي، وعكرمة، وجماعة. وعنه: علي بن مسهر، وأبو معاوية، ومروان بن معاوية. وثقه أبو زرعة وغيره أما ما عنده نحو عشرة أحاديث ذكره ابن حبان في "ثقاته".
