[٥٤٨٤/ ٤٦٩٢] (س) غسان بن مضر الأزدى النمرى، أبو مضر البصرى المكفوف. عن: أبي مسلمة سعيد بن يزيد، وحده. وعنه: أحمد بن حنبل، وأبو بكر، وعثمان ابنا أبى شيبة الحافظان، والفلاس، وخلق. وثقه أحمد، وابن معين. وقال ابن حبان: حدث عن ثابت، وعبد العزيز بن صهيب مات سنة (١٨٤) يعتبر بحديثه من رواية الثقات عنه، كنيته أبو مضر وكان مكفوفًا وهو الذي يقال له: النمرى والأزدى. انتهى. له في (س) كان ﵇ يصلي في النعلين.
