[٥٣٧٧/ ٤٥٩٩] (ق) عياش بن أبي ربيعة، عمرو بن المغيرة بن عبد الله بن عُمر بن مخزوم المذكور في دعاء القنوت. أسلم قبل دخوله ﵇ دار الأرقم وهاجر إلى الحبشة وهو أخو أبي جهل لأمه. له رواية قليلة. روى عن: أنس، وعبد الرحمن بن سابط، وابنه عبدُ الله بن عياش. وأرسل عن عمر بن عبد العزيز، ونافع. وكان من أشراف الصحابة قتل يوم اليرموك. وكانت اليرموك سنة (١٥) وقيل: قتل يوم اليمامة سنة (١٢) وقيل: توفى بمكة قاله الطبري.
