[٥٣٠٨/ ٤٥٣١] (خ م د) عنبسة بن سعيد بن العاص بن سعيد الأموى - بفتح الهمزة وبضم، وقد تقدم ذلك مرارًا- أبو أيوب، ويقال: أبو خالد، أخو عَمرو الأشدق. عن: أبى هريرة، وأنس، وعن عُمر بن عبد العزيز -وهو أكبر من عُمر بن عبد العزيز-. وعنه: أبو قلابة، والزهرى، ومحمد بن عمرو بن علقمة، وجماعة. وثقه ابن معين، وأبو داود. قال الدارقطني: كان جليسًا للحجاج. وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات". ذكره في "الميزان" تمييزا وقال: وثقه ابن معين و (د).
