    [٥٢٨٩] (تمييز) عمران القصير وليس هو بابن مسلم. روى عن: أنس. وعنه: جعفر بن بُرقان. قال يحيى القطان: كتبت عنه ورميت به ذكره الذهبي في "ميزانه" فقال: عمران القصير، عن أنس، تُكلم فيه. قيل: هو ابن قدامة، وقيل: عمران بن يحيى يروى عن جعفر بن بُرقان. قال يحيى القطان: لم يكن به بأس ولم يكن من أهل الحديث كتبت عنه ورميت به. انتهى. وقد رأيت فى "ثقات ابن حبان" شخصًا يحتمل أن يكون المذكور هنا. قال فيه ابن حبان: عمران العمى يروى عن أنس بن مالك، عداده فى أهل البصرة. روى عنه جعفر بن برقان، وحرب بن ميمون يخطئ. انتهى والله أعلم. عمران القصير هو: ابن مسلم. عمران القطان هو: ابن داور.
