[٥٢٣٦/ ٤٤٦٥] (س) عَمرو بن هشام بن بُزَيْن - بضم الموحدة، ثم زاي مفتوحة، ثم مثناة تحت ساكنة، ثم نون - أبو أمية الحراني. عن: جده لأمه عتاب - بعين مهملة، ثم مثناة فوق مشددة، وفي آخره موحدة - ابن بَشِير - بفتح الموحدة وكسر الشين المعجمة -، وابن عيينة، وأبي بكر بن عياش، ومحمد بن سلمة، ومخلد بن يزيد، وجماعة. وعنه: (س)، ومحمد بن عوف الطائي، وأحمد بن علي الأبار، والباغندي، وأبو عروبة الحراني، وآخرون. وثقه (س) وغيره منهم ابن حبان في "ثقاته". وقال: مات بسواد الكوفة وهو ذاهب إلى الحج سنة (٢٤٥).
