[٥١٥٨/ ٤٤٠٢] (س ق) عَمرو بن عبد الله بن وهب النخعي، أبو معاوية، ويقال: أبو سُليمان الكوفي. عن: أبي عَمرو الشيباني - بالشين المعجمة - سعد بن إياس، والشعبي، وزيد العَمِي، وجماعة. وعنه: ابنه أبو داود النخعى سليمان، وزائدة، وابن عيينة، ووكيع، وزيد بن الحُباب، وأبو نعيم.وثقه ابن معين وغير منهم. وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات".
