[٥٠٥٤/ ٤٣٢١] (د) عُمر بن يزيد السيّارى البصري، أبو حفص الصفار. عن: مسلم بن خالد الزنجي، وعبد الوارث، وعباد بن العوام، وابن عيينة، وفُضيل بن عياض، وطبقتهم. وعنه: (د)، وبقىّ بن مخلد وعبدان الأهوازي، وأبو عبيد بن حربويه القاضي، وأبو طاهر بن فيل، وعُمر بن الحسن الحلبي أبو حفص، وآخرون. قال ابن حبان: مستقيم الحديث مات سنة (بضع ٢٤) (*). انتهى. ذكره فى "الميزان" تمييزًا وقال: وثقه صاعقة. انتهى. وصاعقة هو الحافظ: محمد بن عبد الرحيم يأتي في مكانه.
