[٤٩٩٥/ ٤٢٦٦] (م د) عُمر بن عبد الله بن رزين السلمي، أبو العباس النيسابوري. عن: إبراهيم بن طهمان، وسفيان بن حسين، وابن إسحاق وغيرهم. وعنه: أحمد بن الأزهر، وأحمد بن يوسف السلمى، وسهل بن عمار، وجماعة. ولم يرحل من بلده. قال سهل بن عمار العتكى: لم يكن بخراسان أنبل منه. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" وقال: روى عن سفيان بن حسين القرآن انتهى قال السراج مات سنة (٢٠٣).
