[٤٩٨٦/ ٤٢٥٨] (د) عمر بن شقيق الجَرْمِيُّ. عن: إسماعيل بن مسلم المكي، وأبي جعفر الرازي. وعنه: ابنه الحسن، وروح بن عبد المؤمن، ويحيى بن حكيم -بفتح الحاء، وكسر الكاف، وقد تقدم ضبطه- المُقَوِّم، وغيرهم.ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات". وذكره في "الميزان" فقال فيه لين ذكر له ابن عدى ثلاثة أحاديث وقال: هو قليل الحديث. قال الذهبي: قلت: ما رأيت أحدًا ضعفه -ثم ذكر له حديثًا في صلاة كسوف الشمس بخمس ركعات وسجد سجدتين في كل ركعة ثم قال-: ما تفرد به عُمر بن شقيق الجرمي فقد رواه عبد الله ابن أبي جعفر الرازي عن أبيه أيضًا انتهى. يعني: الذي رواه عنه عُمر بن شقيق.
