[٤٩٣٩/ ٤٢٢٦] (د) عُمر بن الخطاب، أبو حفص السجستاني نزيل الأهواز، وأحد حفاظ الحديث. عن: عبيد الله بن موسى ومحمد بن يوسف الفريابي، وأبى اليمان، وأبي عاصم، وطبقتهم. وعنه: (د)، وأبو بكر بن أبي عاصم، وأحمد بن يحيى التسترى، وعمر بن محمد بن بجير - بضم الموحدة، وفتح الجيم، والياء، والباقي معروف-، وابن أبي داود وأبو سعيد بن الأعرابي، وطائفة. قال ابن حبان: مستقيم الحديث. قال ابن المنادى مات في شوال سنة (٢٦٤).
