    [٤٨٦٣/ ٤١٥٨] (س ق) عمار بن خالد بن يزيد بن دينار أبو الفضل، ويقال أبو إسماعيل الواسطى التمار. عن: الحكم بن سنان القربى - بكسر القاف، وفتح الشراء وبموحدة قبل ياء النسبة-، ومحمد بن يزيد الواسطى، وسفيان بن عيينة، وأبى بكر بن عياش، وعلى بن غراب، ويحيى القطان، وطائفة.وعنه: (س) (ق)، وأبو بكر بن أبي عاصم، وأبو بكر بن أبي داود، ومحمد بن جرير، وعلى بن عبد الله بن مبشر الواسطى، وجعفر بن محمد بن المغلس البغدادى، وعبد الرحمن بن أبي حاتم، وخلق. قال أبو حاتم: صدوق وقال ابن حبان في "ثقاته" مات سنة (٢٦٠).
