[٤٧٤١/ ٤٠٦٥] (ق) علي بن داود بن يزيد أبو الحسن التميمي البغدادي القنطري.عن: محمد بن عبد الله الأنصاري، وعبد الله بن صالح المصري، وآدم بن أبي إياس، وطبقتهم. وعنه: (ق)، وإبراهيم الحربي، ومحمد بن جرير الطبري، وابن صاعد، والهيثم بن كليب الشاشي وآخرون. وثقه الخطيب وغيره منهم ابن حبان ذكره في "ثقاته". وذكره في "الميزان" فقال: صالح الحديث، روى عن سعيد بن أبي مريم، لكنه روى خبرًا منكرًا؛ تكلم فيه لذلك وثقه ابن حبان والخطيب، انتهى. قال ابن المنادي: مات في ذي الحجة سنة (٢٩٢).
