    [٤٦٣٥/ ٣٩٧٠] (د س ق) عقبة بن أوس، ويقال: يعقوب بن أوس بصرى. عن: عبد الله بن عَمرو، وقيل عبد الله بن عُمر. وعنه: القاسم بن ربيعة، وابن سيرين، وعلى بن زيد بن جدعان. وثقه العجلي. وذكره ابن حبان في "ثقاته" فقال: يروى عن عبد الله بن عَمرو. • تنبيه: عقبة هذا عن عبد الله بن عَمرو أو ابن عُمر، وقد تقدم أن ابن حبان قال: ابن عَمرو. قال ابن الغلابى - بفتح الغين المعجمة، وتخفيف اللام، وبموحدة قبل ياء "النسبة" - وقد تقدم فيما رواه عنه إبراهيم بن عبد الله بن الجُنيد: لم يسمع منه انتهى. وهو في السنن الثلاثة [] على اسمه والله أعلم.
