[٤٦٠٥] (تمييز) عطاء بن مسلم. يروى عن: وهب بن منبه. روى عنه: أهل اليمن. حدثنا أبو خليفة، ثنا علي بن المديني، ثنا محمد بن عمرو بن مقسم الصنعاني، حدثني عطاء بن مسلم، عن وهب بن منبه قال "كان شعيب رجلًا صالحًا، ولم يكن بنبي". قلت: هذا باطل. ذكره ابن حبان في "ثقاته" والظاهر أن قوله (قلت) من كلام شيخنا الحافظ نور الدين الهيثمي مرتب الثقات لا من كلام ابن حبان والله أعلم.
