    [٤٥٥٤/ ٣٨٨٨] (م د س ق) عدى بن عَميرة، - وقد تقدم أعلاه أنه بفتح العين المهملة وكسر الميم - ابن فروة، أبو زُرارة الكندى له وفادة. وعنه: ابنه وقيل: لم يسمع منه، وأخوه العُرس، ورجاء بن حيوة، وقيس بن أبي حازم، ويقال: شيخ قيس رجل أخر، يقال: وفد على معاوية، ومات بالرها، وكذا قال ابن حبان في "تاريخ الصحابة": إنه مات بجزيرة. وقال الواقدي: مات بالكوفة سنة (٤٠).
