    [٤٤١٦/ ٣٧٤٨] (ت) عبيد سَنُوطا - بسين مفتوحة، ثم نون ساكنة، ثم واو، ثم طاء مهملتين مقصور، والسنوط والسنوطا والسناط من لا يحثه له أصلًا، قاله الجوهري غير مقصور، وسيأتي من كلام ابن حبان أنه فارسي. وقيل: عُبيد بن سَنُوطا أبو الوليد المدني. عن: خولة بنت قيس. وعنه: سعيد المقبري، وعُمر بن كثير بن أفلح. ذكره ابن حبان في "ثقاته"، وقال: عبيد سنوطا، وسنوطا اسم فارسي، روى عنه سعيد المقبري، والليث بن سعد. وذكره أحمد العجلي، فقال: تابعي مدني ثقة. وقال (ت) عقيب إخراج حديثه: حسن صحيح.
