[٤٢٦٣/ ٣٦٠٠] (س ق) عبد الوهاب بن سعيد بن عطية، أبو محمد الدمشقي، المعروف بوهب، وهو لقبه، والد محمد بن وهب. عن: إسماعيل بن عياش، وابن عيينة، وعبد الرحمن بن زيد بن أسلم، وغيرهم. وعنه: شعيب بن شعيب بن إسحاق، والعباس بن الوليد الخلال، والدارمي، ويعقوب الفسوي، وجماعة.وثقه ابن حبان. وقال أبو زرعة الدمشقى: شهدت جنازته سنة (٢١٣)، وكذا أرخه ابن حبان في "ثقاته".
