[٤٠٦٥/ ٣٤٠٢] (ت) عبد الرحمن القرشي التيمى. عن: عمه محمد بن المنكدر، عن جابر. وعنه: عبد الله بن داود الواسطى. حديثه: قال عمر لأبي بكر: يا خير الناس بعد رسول ﷺ قال: أما إنك إن قلت ذلك فإنى سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: "ما طلعت الشمس على أحد أفضل من عُمر". قال الترمذى: ليس إسناده بذاك ولا نعرفه إلا من هذا الوجه. ذكره في "الميزان" فقال: لا يكاد يُعرف، لا يتابع على حديثه، رواه عبد الله بن داود اليماني - وهو هالك - عنه عن محمد بن المنكدر، عن جابر قال: قال عُمر .. فذكره. ثم ذكر قول الترمذي: ليس إسناده بذاك انتهى.
