    [٣٨٢٩/ ٣٧٩١] (س) عبد الرحمن بن الحباب الأنصارى السلمى - بفتح اللام، قال ابن الصلاح: ومن كسر، لحن. وقال النووى: كما تقدم غير مرة أن الكسر لغة. عن: أبي قتادة في النهي عن الخليطين. وعنه: بُكير بن الأشج، وعمر بن حفص. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" مرتين فيما غلب على ظني ولفظه عبد الرحمن بن الحباب السلمى يروي عن أبي قتادة روى عنه بكير بن عبد الله بن الأشج انتهى. فظنهما اثنين لاختلاف الصحابي والله أعلم. قال أحمد العجلي: عبد الرحمن بن الحباب مدنى تابعى ثقة. انتهى.
