[٣٧٩٤/ ٣٧٥٩] (م س) عبد الرحمن بن الأصم، ويقال: عبد الله بن الأصم ويقال: أبو عمرو الأصم أبو بكر العبدي، ويقال: الثقفى مؤذن الحجاج. عن: أبى هريرة، وأنس. وعنه: ابن سيرين، - مع تقدمه -، وليث بن أبي سُليم - بضم السين وفتح اللام، كما تقدم قريبًا وبعيدًا - والثورى وأبو عوانة، وغيرهم. وثقه ابن معين وغيره. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات". تنبيه: قال الذهبي في "زياداته على التهذيب": كأن روايته عن أبي هريرة مرسلة انتهى.
