    [٣٧٨٤/ ٣٧٥١] (خت ق) عبد الرحمن بن أذينة العبدى الكوفى قاضى الكوفة. عن: أبيه، وأبي بن كعب، وأبى هريرة. وعنه: يحيى بن أبى إسحاق الحضرمي، وقتادة، وسليمان التيمي، وجماعة. وثقه أبو داود. قال محمد بن عبد الله الأنصارى: ولاه الحجاج القضاء سنة (٨٣). ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات". قال عمر بن شبة: مات ابن أذينة في سنة (٩٥) أو قبلها. وقيل غير ذلك.
