    [٣٢٨٦/ ٣٣٢٤] عبد الله بن سَوَّار - بفتح السين، وتشديد الواو وفي آخره راء - ابن عبد الله بن قدامة، القاضي، أبو السَّوار مثل أبيه العنبري البصري. عنه: أبيه وعبد الله بن بكر المزني، وحماد بن سلمة، ومالك، وجماعة. وعنه: ابنه، وابن راهويه، وأبو زرعة، وأبو خليفة الجُمحى. وثقه أبو داود وقال خليفة: حدثنا عبد الله بن العنبرى القاضي وابن القاضي، وأبو القاضي، وجد القاضي، وأخو القاضي. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" وقال: مات سنة (٢٢٨) بالبصرة. وكذا قال مطين وغيره أنه مات سنه (٢٢٨).
