[٢٩١٧/ ٢٩٦٢] (خ م) طريف بن مجالد، أبو تميمة بفتح المثناة فوق وكسر الميم - الهُجيمي البصري. عن: أبي هريرة، وأبي موسى، وجابر بن سمرة، وابن عمر، وأبي عثمان النهدي، وأبي جُرى الهجيمي. وعنه: بكر بن عبد الله المزني، وقتادة، والمثنى بن سعيد الطائي، وسُليمان التيمي، وخالد الحذاء، وجماعة. وثقه ابن معين. قال الواقدي: مات سنة (٩٧) وقال الفلاس: سنة (٩٥). ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" وذكر القولين في وفاته، لكنه قدم الثاني. • تنبيه: طريف بن مجالد له في السنن (٤) عن أبي هريرة حديث "من أتى كاهنًا أو امرأة في دبرها" قال (خ): لا يُعرف له سماع من أبي هريرة، انتهى. • طريف، أبو عاتكة في الكنى.
