[٢٨٩٠/ ٢٩٣١] (ق) الضحاك المعافري الدمشقي. عن: سُليمان بن موسى.وعنه: محمد بن مهاجر حديث "ألا مشمر للجنة" وهو عال في كتاب "البعث والنشور" لأبي بكر عبد الله بن أبي داود صاحب "السنن" وقد رويناه من عدة طرق عاليًا. ذكر الضحاك ابنُ حبان في "الثقات"، ولم يذكر عنه راويًا إلا محمد بن مهاجر. ذكره في "الميزان" وقال: لا يُعرف، ما روى عنه سوى محمد بن مهاجر الأنصاري، ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات"، له حديث واحد في "البعث" انتهى.
