    [٢٨٥٧/ ٢٨٩٧] (ت ق) الصلت بن دينار، أبو شعيب الأزدي الهنائي البصري، ويعرف بالمجنون. عن: عبد الله بن شقيق العقيلي، وعكرمة، والحسن، وأبي عثمان النهدي، وأبي نضرة - بالنون ثم الضاد المعجمة - العبدي، وعطاء بن أبي رباح، وجماعة. وعنه: وكيع، وأبو داود الطيالسي، ومكي بن إبراهيم، وخلق. قال أحمد: تركوا حديثه، وقال ابن معين: ليس بشيء، وقال أبو حاتم: مضطرب الحديث، وقال (س): ليس بثقة، وقال ابن عدي: عامة ما يرويه لا يتابع عليه، ذكره في "الميزان" فقال: بصري لين، ثم ذكر كلام الناس فيه. قيل مات قريبًا من سنة (١٦٠).
