[٢٥٠٨/ ٢٥٢٩] (مقرونا خ س) سليمان بن صالح الليثي، مولاهم، أبو صالح، سَلْمويه. صاحب ابن المبارك. وروى أيضًا عن: أوس بن عبد الله بن بُريدة، والفُضيل بن عياض. وعنه: ابن راهويه، ومحمد بن عبد العزيز بن أبي رِزْمة، وجماعة. وروى عنه: محمد بن علي بن حمزة المروزي. وقال: كان ابن المبارك يخصه بالحديث، فروى عنه ثمانمائة حديث مما لم يقع في الكتب، مات قبل سنة (٢١٠)، وكان جاوز المائة. أخرج له (خ) مقرونًا بغيره.
