[٢٠٢٣/ ٢٠٤٤] (م ت ق) زياد بن أبي زياد، ميسرة، المخزومي المدني، مولى عبد الله بن عياش - بالمثناة تحت، والشين المعجمة - ابن أبي ربيعة. له دار وذريد بدمشق. عن: مولاه، وعراك بن مالك، وأبى بحرية عبد الله بن قيس، ونافع بن جبير، وجماعة. وعنه: يزيد بن عبد الله بن الهادى، وابن إسحاق، ومالك، وجماعة. وثقه النسائي وغيره، وكان عبدًا صالحًا زاهدًا. قال مالك: وكان رجلًا عابدًا معتزلًا يكون وحده، يدعو الله تعالى، وكانت فيه لُكْنة، وكان يلبس الصوف، ولا يأكل اللحم، وكانت له دُريهمات يُعالج له فيها، انتهى. له في الكُتب المرقومة عليه ثلاثة أحاديث. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬١).
