[١٩٣٨] (تمييز) الزبرقان بن عبد الله العبدى من أهل الكوفة، كنيته أبو الورقاء. يروى عن: كعب بن عبد الله. روى عنه: الثورى، وإسرائيل. ذكره ابن حبان في "ثقاته"، وذكره الذهبي في "ميزانه"، وقال: وهم في حديث، فذكره العُقيلي في كتابه، وقال (خ): في حديثه وهم انتهى. أما كلام العُقيلي في جرحه فليس هو بجرح، ومن ذا الذي ما وهم في حديث، وأما كلام البخارى فإنه صريح في الرد. والله أعلم.
