[١٩١٢/ ١٩٣١] (خ) روح بن عبد المؤمن الهذلي مولاهم البصري المقرئ، صاحب يعقوب الحضرمي: وقد تصدر للإقراء مدة، وقرأ عليه جماعة. عن: حماد بن زيد، وأبي عوانة، وعبد الواحد بن زياد، ويزيد بن زريع، وخلق. وعنه: (خ)، وأبو زرعة، وعثمان الدارمي، وأبو يعلى، ومطين، وعبد الله بن أحمد. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات"، وقال: مات سنة (٢٣٣)، أو قبلها بقليل أو بعدها بقليل، انتهى. وفي "التذهيب" تبعًا لأصله في الظاهر سنة (٢٤)، أو قبلها أو بعدها بعام (¬١).
