    [١٧٩٨/ ١٨١٥] (خ م د س) ذكوان، أبو عَمرو، مولي عائشة ﵂. عن: مولاته. وعنه: ابن أبي مليكة، وعلي بن الحسين، وعبد الواحد بن أبي عون، ومحمد بن عَمرو بن عطاء، وجماعة. وثقه أبو زرعة. قال عروة: كان يؤم قريشًا، وكان أقرأهم. وقال الواقدي: دبرته عائشة، وقالت: إذا واريتني فأنت حُر. مات لثاني الحرة سنة (٦٣). ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات"، فقال: ذكوان بن عَمرو أبو عمرو. وقال: قُتل لثاني الحرة.
