    [١٧٧٢] (تمييز) داود بن يزيد الثقفى، بصرى. ذكره في "الميزان" هو وداود الصنعاني، ثم قال: مجهولان، ثم قال: أما الثقفي، فيروى عن عاصم بن بهدلة، وحبيب المعلم. ذكر داود هذا ابن يزيد فيما يظهر ابن حُبان في "ثقاته"، فقال: داود بن يزيد الثقفي من أهل البصرة، يروى عن: بشر بن حرب، وعاصم بن بهدلة، وروى عنه: قتيبة بن سعيد، انتهى، والله أعلم.
