[١٧٤٦/ ١٧٦٧] (خت د س) داود بن أبي عاصم بن عروة بن مسعود الثقفى المكى، ويقال: داود بن عاصم. عن: عثمان بن أبي العاصي، وابن عمر، وسعيد بن المسيب، وأبي سلمة. وعنه: قتادة، وحجاج بن أرطاة، وابن جريج، وجماعة.وثقه أبو داود وغيره. وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" وقال: وهو الذي يقال له: داود بن عاصم، ثم قال: يقال: داود بن أبي داود، يروى المراسيل، روى عنه أهل المدينة. * تنبيه: داود بن أبي عاصم، عن عثمان بن أبي العاصي. قال ابن المديني: مرسل.
