[١٧٠٦/ ١٧٢٤] (د) خليفة والد فِطْر. عن: مولاه عمرو بن حريث. وعنه: ابنه فطر. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات"، ولم يذكر عنه راويًا سوى ولده فِطْر؛ ذكره في "الميزان" وقال ما روى عنه سوى ابنه فطر بن خليفة، ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات"، وخبره عن عمرو بن حريث منكر، وهو: خط لي رسول الله ﷺ دارًا بالمدينة، لأن عَمر بن حُريث يصبو عن ذلك، مات النبي ﷺ وهو ابن عشر سنين، أو نحوها.
