    [١٦٠٩/ ١٦٢٦] (م س) خالد بن عبد الله بن محرز -بحاء مهملة، وراء مكسورة، اسم فاعل، ثم زاى- المازنى، يقال له: الأَثبج -بفتح الهمزة، ثم ثاء مثلثة ساكنة، ثم موحدة مفتوحة، ثم جيم- والأثبج عريض الثبج، وهو ما بين الكاهل والظهر، ويقال له: الأحدبُ. عن: عمه صفوان بن محرز، وزرارة بن أوفى، والحسن، وغيرهم. وعنه: سليمان التيمى، وعوف وإبراهيم بن طهمان، وجماعة. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات". كذا في "التذهيب"، والظاهر أنه في أصله، ولم أره أنا في ترتيب "الثقات" لشيخنا الهيثمى.
